A 22-year-old North Huntingdon man is facing charges after police allege he hit a state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources employee with his car after the DCNR employee attempted to intervene in a domestic dispute.

Ohiopyle State Park DCNR Officer Jonathan Crouch said Michael Alan Bradley Jr. was charged late Sunday before Magisterial District Judge Ronald J. Haggerty Jr. with two counts of aggravated assault and single counts of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.

According to Crouch, the incident occurred at 6:26 p.m. when Bradley became involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, Samantha Gergley, no address available, at a location in the park along Route 381 in Ohiopyle.

DCNR Official Jordon Duvall attempted to intercede in the altercation, but Bradley struck him in the legs with his car, Crouch said.

Crouch said that prior to striking Duvall with the car, several witnesses reported seeing Bradley punch Gergley repeatedly during a dispute.

Bradley was placed in Fayette County Prison on $10,000 straight cash bond following his arraignment.

He will face a preliminary hearing at a later date before Magisterial District Judge Wendy D. Dennis.
