Rohanna in contention at 2-over

Rachel Rohanna had a bit of an up-and-down day Thursday in the opening round of the U.S. Women’s Open, but remained in contention with a 2-over 74.

With just over half the field back in the clubhouse, Rohanna was tied in 70th place, seven strokes behind Inbee Park. The Waynesburg native started on No. 10 and went out in 1-under 36. Rohanna had a rough start on her back nine, but recovered to finish with a 3-over 38.
