Nancy L. Guth
Nancy L. Guth, age 75, of Vanderbilt, Pa., died Sunday, March 3, 2013. Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Franklin D. Guth; children: Dr. Patricia Elaine Guth and husband Timothy A. Morton, Sandra Jane Myers and Eugene Stafford, Franklin M. Guth, and Charles Alan Guth and wife Anita.
Nancy is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her brothers: James T. Lowther Jr. of Michigan and John Robert Lowther of Florida; and her close friend and sister-in-law, Bonnie Guth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James T. Lowther Sr. and Emma Grace Lowther.
Nancy cherished the time spent with both her children and grand children from camping in the backyard to telling bedtime stories.
The family would like to thank the staff of Fayette EMS, STAT Medevac, and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for their kindness and care.
The family requests donations in lieu of flowers be made to East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 169 Main Street, Vanderbilt, PA 15486 where she was a member for 54 years.
Friends will be received at the EAST LIBERTY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Vanderbilt, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. H. David McElroy officiating.
Interment will follow in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt.
