Eugene ‘Buddy’ Stronko, 74, of Smithfield, Pa., passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Laurel Ridge Nursing Home, Uniontown, Pa.  He was born in Smithfield, Pa. on May 30, 1938, the son of the late Stephen and Mary Marie (Hlatky) Stronko.

‘Buddy’ spent his entire life working on his farm and was a lifetime member of the Pal’s Club, Masontown, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was prede-ceased by his sister, Marie Anna Sawchenko.

Surviving are his brother, Albert Stronko and wife Kathy, Smithfield, Pa. and sister, Joann Organt and husband Marino of Virginia.

Family and Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 7 River Ave., Masontown, PA (today) Friday, May 3, 2013, from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints R.C. Church, Masontown, Pa., with Fr. James F. Bump as Celebrant.

Interment at Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
