Brownsville Area School Board results
Unofficial results from precincts reporting for Brownsville Area School Director show that Richard Gates was leading the Republican race and incumbent Ronald Dellarose Jr. was leading the Democratic race.
Incumbents were Dellarose of Grindstone and Andy Assad of Brownsville.
Challengers were Gates, Terry Clark of Cardale, Gary Seelye, Nick Mihalko, and Michael Sobocinski all of Brownsville.
The top four vote getters will move on to the November election. Results were incomplete, as both Fayette County and Washington County had voting precincts that had not been counted by deadline.
Unofficial results show that Gates received 84 votes in the Republican race and 648 votes in the Democratic race. Seelye received 66 votes in the Republican race and 605 votes in the Democratic race. Clark had 71 votes in the Republican race and 549 votes in the Democratic race. Dellarose received 73 votes in the Republican race and 735 votes in the Democratic race. Assad received 62 votes in the Republican race and 624 votes in the Democratic race. In the Republican race, Sobocinski received 47 votes and 417 votes in the Democratic race. In the Democratic race, Mihalko had 237 votes.
All candidates cross-filed, with the exception of Mihalko, who was seeking the Democratic nomination.
