Fayette TV offers break from summer reruns
It may be a surprise to many of you reading this but I watch channels other than Fayette TV (Atlantic Broadband 77).
It is true I indulge in a few (television related) guilty pleasures: CBS has me hooked on “The Good Wife” on Sunday nights, and why not with 11.83 million viewers the show has a good percentage of the market share. H2, the second History Channel, gets some of my viewing time, and even the Hallmark Channel gets an occasional glance with reruns of “Frasier” and “The Golden Girls,” then again who can resist Betty White?
Tomorrow being Memorial Day, summer is in full swing, well not technically – summer doesn’t start until Friday, June 21 in 2013 with the summer solstice. However, the television networks know we are enjoying our decks and barbeques and all you will find on the mainstream networks now are reruns. With that being said — this is the time to check out Fayette TV!
While some of our daily schedule plays repetitively, we run tourist related programing twice daily for those from out of the area, much of our programming will continue to be updated during the summer.
Going LIVE with FCTV has no summer break built into the schedule, sadly the crew will be forced to go vacation-less this year, but you will be able to enjoy new episodes every other Friday and Sunday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Much of our other programming such as Editors Notebook and Inside the Y are also scheduled for new episodes.
Don’t have Atlantic Broadband? No problem – you can find Fayette TV online at FayetteTV.org and view content via LiveStream.
Over the summer between your brats and brews on the porch, sneak inside and enjoy some AC along with some local programming on Fayette TV.
