Thomas A. Simon, Jr.
Thomas A. Simon, Jr., 32, of Perryopolis, died on Monday, May 27, 2013.
He was born September 8, 1980 in Greensburg. He was the son of Thomas A. Simon, Sr. and wife, Nina, of Belle Vernon and Cindy Narkevic Simon and Bob Copeland of Banning.
Tom worked with his father at Howard Hanna-Simon Real Estate Service where he was a multi-million dollar producer at the Mid-Mon Valley office and won numerous trip and awards.
A graduate of Frazier High School, where he was active in sports, he enjoyed coaching T-ball for his sons and was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler.
He was a member of the Banning United Methodist Church and Journey by Grace Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas L. Simon and his maternal grandparents, Alfonso and Lovie Narkevic.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jeanne Thompson Simon; two sons, Thomas A. Simon III and William Alfonso Simon and his paternal grandmother, Connie Simon of Dembo. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 Thursday at the L. L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME, INC. Second Street, Smithton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Mildred Martin officiating. Private burial will be in the Olive Branch Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
