Judge hears argument in undercover sex sting case

By Josh Krysak jkrysak@heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

An attorney for a Fredericktown man who police allege was caught in an undercover sex sting conducted by Southwest Regional police in Belle Vernon argued in a suppression hearing today that his client was entrapped by police and that their conduct should be considered legally outrageous.

Donald Duricic, 28, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Jesse Cramer earlier this year with multiple counts of unlawful contact with minors related to statutory sexual assault, sexual abuse of children and disseminating obscene materials.

His attorney, Samuel J. Davis, argued before Fayette County Judge Steve P. Leskinen that Duricic did not engage in anything criminal until criminal activity was thrust upon him by police.
