Applause — Johnna Purcell
The Uniontown Rotary Club honored Johnna Purcell of Farmington as a Student of the Month for October.
A senior at Uniontown Area High School, Purcell is involved in school activities that include Future Business Leaders of America, Academic League, National Honor Society, cross country, and track. Additionally, she is co-president of the Debate Team.
Outside of school, Purcell is a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, studies violin and voice, and is involved in dance.
Purcell plans to attend college to study political science with the goal of establishing a career in law and politics.
She is a daughter of Jack and Annamarie Purcell.
