William F. Hawk, age 68, Farmington, Pa., passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 in South Fayette Health Center.

He was born December 5, 1944 in Sewickley, Pa., son of Mildred Hawk Sepski of Hopwood, Pa., and the now late James Lester Hawk.

‘Bill’ was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marines Corps from 1962 to 1965. He was a member of the American Legion Post 51, Uniontown, Pa.

‘Bill’ was a retired Welder with Morgantown Technical Service at Mount Morris, Pa.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary (Pires) Hawk; two children: Tammy Lynn Hawk of Uniontown, Pa., Dwayne Hawk, Waynesburg, Pa.; step-daughters: Sandra Bowman of Texas, Robin Harriston and husband Jim of Waynesburg, Pa.; a special grandson, Joshua Thompson; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; many special friends; one sister, Nina Springer of Hopwood; and a brother, James C. Hawk of Texarkana, Texas.

Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, Pa., Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Saturday, November 30, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Rev. Terry Collins officiating.

Interment will follow in Cove Run Cemetery.
