Suspect in drug sting caught after chase
A Pittsburgh man is facing multiple charges after police say he fled from an attempted drug sting operation in Connellsville on Friday.
Percy Love, 24, was charged with delivery of heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, fleeing and eluding police and a multitude of lesser offenses following an attempted controlled drug buy by police and members of the Fayette County Drug Task Force.
Connellsville police Officer Tom Patton said the incident occurred when officers attempted to make a purchase from Love with a “witness controlled buy” in a parking lot in Connellsville.
