Officials identify woman in Perryopolis suicide
Officials from the Fayette County Coroner’s office have identified a Perryopolis woman who died from a apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday afternoon.
Mariann Dick, no age given, was found dead in a yard at the coroner of Liberty and Hancock streets shortly before 6 p.m.
Officials said that the manner of death has been determined to be suicide and that an autopsy will not be performed.
Investigators said that the official cause of death remains pending toxicology tests.
The incident remains under investigation by Perryopolis police.
