Gloria (Cotter) Blaney
Gloria (Cotter) Blaney, age 85, Point Marion, Pa. passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Point Manor Personal Care Home, Point Marion.
She was born May 16, 1928 in Morgantown, West Virginia daughter of Dana Cotter and Bessie (Keener) Cotter.
Gloria was preceded in death by three siblings who died at birth; her parents; and her husband Warren ‘Sturcky’ Blaney.
She is survived by her son, Roger Blaney; her daughter, Sharyn Robinson and husband Jack; “adopted” daughter Jeannie Taylor; three grandchildren Tami Roth and husband Lou, Erik Robinson and wife Chrissy, Ryan Robinson and wife Angi; and eight great-grandchildren: Brendan, Devin, Morgan and Conner Roth, Lindsey and Tristan Robinson, Kyla and Kinsley Robinson.
A Memorial Service will be held at GANS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 5 p.m with Gloria’s daughter, Pastor Sharyn Robinson, officiating.
The service will be followed by a dinner.
Donations may be made in Gloria’s name to Gans United Methodist Church, Box 6, Gans, PA 15439 or to Point Manor Personal Care Home, 300 Union Street, Point Marion, PA 15474.
The family thanks the staff and all personnel at Point Manor and also Amedisys Hospice Care.
