Correction
Conspiracy and theft charges filed against five Fayette County residents police allege assaulted and robbed a Uniontown woman outside a South Union Township bar on May 12 were withdrawn by prosecutors last week. The remaining charges against Brandy L. Wilson, 24, of West Leisenring; Steven Shawn McKnight, 28, of West Leisenring; Richard Wayne Teets, 27, of Gans; Jade Renae Bendishaw, 21, of Uniontown; and Brittany Elizabeth Chipps, 22, of Hopwood including simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, were waived to Fayette County Court. Wilson also waived a charge for robbery. A story in Friday’s newspaper incorrectly stated that all charges against all suspects had been waived. The Herald-Standard apologizes for the error.
