Dr. Carl Richard Enlow, age 69 of Reading, Pa. passed away suddenly on Friday, September 27, 2013 as a result of a helicopter accident. He was born December 28, 1943 in McClellandtown, Pa., a son of the late Elroy ‘Hopper’ Enlow and Vivian (Swisher) Enlow.

‘Rich’, as he was known to everyone, was a graduate of German Township High School and a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College of Davenport, Iowa. He was passionate about his profession and practiced in Birdsboro, Pa. for 39 years. Rich served in the United States Army National Guard in Iowa with two years active duty as a helicopter pilot, and also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard in the same capacity.

He was a member of the QB Reading Hanger, the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, the Palmer College Alumni, Birdsboro Rotary Club, the Berks Diner Club, the Evergreen German Club, the Corvette Club, and the National Rifle Association.

Rich is the late husband of Connie L. (Doll) Enlow of Reading, Pa., having celebrated 41 years of marriage. He is survived also by his sisters, Jacqui Biddle and husband James of Newman, Illinois and Peggy Perkins and husband Ken of McClell-andtown, Pa.; a brother, Charles L. Enlow of Chesapeake, Va.; his Step-mother, Shirley Enlow of Balsinger, Pa., and several nephews and nieces.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service of Remembrance at the MCCLELLANDTOWN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH on Saturday, October 19th at 2 p.m. with Elder David McElroy officiating.

Interment will be family private.
