Mary Ann Leshnak
Mary Ann Leshnak, age 71, of Republic, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
She was born May 9, 1942 in Weirton, W. Va., a daughter of the late Michael Leshnak and Mary M. Shimshock Leshnak.
Mary Ann was a member of the former Church of the Madonna in Cardale, Pa.
She was a graduate of Redstone High School Class of 1960.
She is survived by sisters, Eleanor Bellan of Madison, Ohio, Loretta Luketic and husband, Charles, of Canfield, Ohio, Barbara Piccolomini and husband, Domenic, of Uniontown, Pa. and Joanne Coletti of Republic, Pa. and her brother, Robert Leshnak and wife, Lorraine, of Wellington, Ohio.
Mary Ann would want to thank Lisa, Crystal and Mary and all at Amedysis Hospice Care and Marilyn, her caretaker for a few years who always remembered what she wished for, especially her hat and nail polish. Also Brenda and Tom and all the caretakers of Our Country Home.
Mary Ann leaves behind her family and all her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She often thought of them and their children. She loved her friends, especially Barbara.
Mary Ann was a loving soul.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 1 Legion St., Republic, Pa. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., when funeral services will be held with Rev. Scott Teets officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
