Yolande (Ciarlo) Baugh

Yolande (Ciarlo) Baugh passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 26, 2013 with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ray Baugh; her parents, Lorenzo and Theresa Ciarlo; sisters, Cora Ciarlo and Marie Dawson; and brothers, Chester Ciarlo and Lawrence Ciarlo.

Yolande was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her seven children: Barbara Lee Packard and husband John, Rockville, Maryland, Walter Ray Baugh and wife Carol of Derwood, Maryland, Donald Alan Baugh and wife Sandra, Greensburg, Pa., Charles Richard Baugh and wife Trisha of Buckeye, Arizona, Carolyn Sue Grimm and husband Barry of Uniontown, Pa., Jonathan David Baugh, Uniontown Robert Curtis Baugh and wife Beth of Greensburg, Pa. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

After her children were grown, Yolande devoted much of her time and energy to charitable and service organizations and became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 263 and served as Worthy Matron as well as in other offices most notably President and District Deputy Grand Matron of Homes Auxiliary. She received her 50 year pin in 1997.

She was also a member of the Margaret E. Caven Shrine 42 of the White Shrine of Jerusalem where she served in numerous capacities. She was recognized in 2005 for her long years of service with the Miriam award and pin.

She served 25 years as a member of the Board of the Order of the Rainbow Girls and received the Grand Cross of Colors for her service.

Yolande also was a member, then President, of the Delta Rho Y Service Club. She joined the Uniontown Service League in 1970 and served as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chair of the Special Projects Committee.

Arrangements have been made with the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa.

Viewings will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 and on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. when a service celebrating Yolande’s life will be held.

Interment will be at Sylvan Heights Cemetery
