Theodore F. ‘Big Ted’ Rankin
Theodore F. ‘Big Ted’ Rankin, age 58, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 in UPMC – Shadyside Hospital surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born on May 22, 1955 in Allison No. 1, Pa., Son of the late Charles Rankin and Nellie (Mattie) Rankin.
‘Ted’ was preceded in death by his Brother, John.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Dinah Rankin; Sons: Theodore F. Rankin Jr. and fiancée Sarah Masullo and son Theodore F. Rankin III, Joseph Charles Rankin and fiancée Ashley Marshall and daughter Destiny Marie Rankin; Daughter, Lyndee Davidson and daughter Jasmine Bradley; Sisters: Nancy, Toni, Loretta and Sue; Brothers: Chuck and Joe; also brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday until 11:00 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with the Reverend Father Joseph Dadizon Armamento officiating.
