John ‘Toots’ Croftcheck
John ‘Toots’ Croftcheck, age 72, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born October 25, 1940 in Brier Hill, Pa., a son of the late John and Mary Votano Croftcheck.
‘Toots’ was preceded in death by his grandson, Gary Dunlevy Jr.; brothers, Eugene, Robert and Edward Croftcheck; sisters, Pauline Bryson and Betty Moore.
‘Toots’ was retired from Fruehauf Corp., Uniontown, where he had served as union president.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of fifty-five years, Faye Rose Berisko Croftcheck; his children, John Jr. and Susan Berrier; his great-grandson, Brandon Dunlevy; his sister, Shirley Guthrie of Fredericktown, Pa.; brother, Joseph Croftcheck of Hopwood, Pa.; sister, Mary Jane Craft and husband, Robert, of Uniontown, Pa.
A special thank-you is extended to his baby sister, Mary Jane ‘Kooch’ Craft and Bobby.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 19 Legion St., Republic, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, September 5, 2013 until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with Msgr. Michael Matusak officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
A Parish Wake Service will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
