1943-2013

Delores Joan McDonald, 69, of Clarksburg, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2013 at United Hospital Center.

She was born September 24, 1943 in Brownsville, Pa., the daughter of the late James W. Shaw Sr. and Henrietta Blanche Arison Shaw.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Rebecca Shaw; five siblings ,Susan E. Shaw of Hopwood, Pa., Ella Marie Shaw Hunter of Norwalk, Ohio, Edward Shaw and wife, Lori, of Leechburg, Pa., Francis J. Shaw and wife, Andrea, of Brownsville, Pa., Michael W. Shaw and wife, Judy, of Republic, Pa.; sister-in-law, Cathy Shaw of Sheffield, Ohio; brother-in-law, William Kusch of Scenery Hill, Pa.; dear friends, Margaret Riddle and Pamela McDonald and family and all their friends. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Fay Edger ‘Mac’ McDonald Jr., on June 6, 2012; one son, Donald Shaw in 2012; two brothers, James W. Shaw Jr. and Daniel Lee Shaw; two sisters, Virginia Lee Shaw Kusch and Edith Shaw Auman.

Delores was a wonderful homemaker and will be missed by many.

Family and friends were received at DAVIS FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Services will be held in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Arlie Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
