Helen R. Knesovich
Helen R. Knesovich, 91, of Brownsville, Pa. (Centerville Borough) died Monday, September 2, 2013 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born October 18, 1921 in Stoneboro, Pa., daughter of the late John and Virginia McKinley Kreitner.
Mrs. Knesovich was a 1939 graduate of Centerville High School.
She worked as a presser for Brownsville Sportswear, retiring in 1992 after 21 years of service.
For over 60 years, she was a member of the St. Michael Church of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, Pa.
She enjoyed flower gardening and taking care of her home.
Her husband, David G. Knesovich, died in 1973.
Surviving are a son David J. Knesovich Sr. of Imperial, Pa.: four grandchildren: David J. Knesovich Jr., Steven, Kevin and Nicole Knesovich; four great-grandchildren: Cassie, Cody, Miranda and Ethan Knesovich; two step-great-grandchildren Riyuji and Yumi Bermudez; one sister, Mary Virginia Neagley of Spring Hill, Fla. and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a sister, Ann Bernharty, and brother-in-law, Albert Bernharty.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St. Beallsville, Pa., where a Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday September 6, 2013 with Rev. Paul Grunebach officiating. Interment will be in Westland Cemetery, Brownsville, Pa.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, P.O. Box 638 Fredericktown, PA. 15333.
