1 min read

Starting Monday, the Cats Creek Bridge near Masontown, on the border of German and Nicholson townships, will undergo beam repairs, beam end painting and other miscellaneous structure and deck repairs.

The majority of work will occur under the bridge and will not be visible; however, motorists may encounter flagman and experience short-term delays when crossing the bridge. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and be alert when entering a work zone, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The project is one of 16 bridges throughout PennDOT’s District 12. The bridges included are: Routes 1003, 1050, 208 and 4038 in Fayette County; Routes 1008 and 1019 in Greene County: Interstate 70 and Route 4017 in Washington County; and Routes 130, 366, 982, 2009 and 4073 in Westmoreland County.
