Constance L. Poklembo, 52, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.

Born November 24, 1961 in Uniontown, she was a daughter of the late William and Philomenia (Sanzone) Duritsky Sr. and stepfather, Charles Hugney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Duritsky Jr.

Connie was Catholic by faith and a past-member of the former St. Boniface Catholic Church of Chestnut Ridge.

She had previously been employed as a manager of CoGo’s Convenience Store, Mt. Pleasant.

Connie was the loving wife of 31 years of Edward M. Poklembo; loving mother to son, Staff Sergeant Michael E. Poklembo and wife, Megan, of Camp LeJune, N.C.; daughter, Jennifer Cesario and husband, Joshua, of Scottdale, and loving grandmother to five grandchildren. Also surviving are father- and mother-in-law, Edward J. and Mary C. Poklembo of Stahlstown; three sisters, Sheila Hunt and husband, George, of Uniontown, Lisa Trice and Michelle Trice and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Norvelt, Pa. 15674 where her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. John A. Sedlak officiating. Interment to follow in St. Florian Cemetery, Trauger.
