Jeanne F. Seese
Jeanne F. Seese, 79, of Beaver, formerly of Baden, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her residence under the compassionate care of VITAS Hospice and surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanne was born June 1, 1934 in Gibbon Glade, Pa., daughter of the late Eugene Umbel and Wilma Virginia Fike.
She devoted her life to caring for others. Jeanne was an LPN who owned and operated the Seese Personal Care Home of Baden for many years. She had also been employed at Giant Eagle and Anderson’s Candy Castle.
In her leisure, she enjoyed cooking and baking.
Jeanne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Ray Seese on March 3, 1987.
Jeanne is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Armeda and Manual Gregory, Center Township; Donna Scott, Baden; her son and daughter-in-law: Dean and Kathleen Seese, Center Township; seven grandchildren: Mindy (B.J.) Gaughan; Amber Gregory; Nick Suica; Joe (Heather) Suica; Katie (Brandon) Delon; Nicole (Tim Lastoria) Seese and Levi Seese; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her companion, Don Knezevich of Beaver.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Additional visitation will be Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Craig Wurst, officiating. Private entombment will follow in the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
