Paul A. Lancaster
Paul A. Lancaster, 70, of Smock, Pa., died on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the William Penn Care Center, Jeannette.
He was born on June 10, 1943 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Albert and Elsie (Kovach) Lancaster
Paul was retired from the Redstone Water Company.
In addition to parents, Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Ella Mae Lancaster; and a sister, Beverly Garbutt.
Surviving are his second wife Diane Lancaster; three children, Annette Pauline Lancaster and Paul A. Lancaster both of Smock, Pa., and David Gleason of Royal, Pa.; three grandchildren, Theodore ‘T.J.’ Sabatula, Cameron D. Sabatula, and Lisa N. Sabatula; three great-grandchildren, Aiden M. Sabatula, Tristian X. Sabatula, and Malia L. Phillips; two sisters and a brother, Alberta ‘Birdie’ Bair of Cleveland, Ohio, Paul ‘Ricky’ Lancaster of Uniontown, Pa., and Christine Zaro of Las Vegas, Nev.; close family members, Dave Fultineer, Nancy Butcher, and Mary Lee Carder, and several nieces and nephews.
The family deeply thanks the staff of the William Penn Carecenter and the staff of Lifecare in Monroeville, Pa., for their exceptional care and compassion.
Friends will be received at STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown Pa., on Wednesday September 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to p.m. and on Thursday, September 19, 2013 until 1 p.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Father James W. Clark officiating.
Entombment will be in the Lafayette Memorial Park Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Brier Hill.
