Benita Mosley born September 19, 1952 in Edenborn, Pa., passed away on September 13, 2013 at the Uniontown Hospital.

Benita was a long time resident of Edenborn, Pa. She attended Pennsylvania State University where she obtained a degree in education. Benita taught for 30 plus years in the Albert Gallatin School District until she retired in 2007.

Outside of work, Benita had a fun loving spirit and very kind heart. She was an avid gardener. She was known for visits to the casino, “oca-cola” runs, and just picking up and taking a scenic drive.

As the eldest of nine children and “Aunt Nita” to many, she held a special place in the hearts of her family and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Mosley, Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Mosley of Edenborn, Pa.; sisters: Bernadette Gosha (Stan) of Goldsboro, N.C., Brenda Moore (Michael) of Philadelphia, Pa., Sandra Poon (Peter) of Jamaica, N.Y., Beatrice Mosley of Edenborn, Pa., Lisa Mosley of Masontown, Pa. and Beverly Whethers of Edenborn, Pa.; brothers: Charles Mosley, Jr. and Mark Mosley of Edenborn, Pa. and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
