1 min read

The state Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will be holding an open house Thursday about the proposed realignment of the intersection of Roy Furman Highway (Route 21) and Georges Road (Route 1021) in Cumberland Township, Greene County.

The meeting will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Township Volunteer Fire Company, 420 W. George St.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives from PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting, PennDOT said.

The meeting location is accessible to those with physical disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance is asked to contact PennDOT prior to the meeting.

For more information about the meeting, call James Sisul, PennDOT project manager, by phone at 724-439-7379 or email jsisul@pa.gov.
