Snyder expanding constituent outreach services
HARRISBURG — State Rep. Pam Snyder, D-Jefferson, said that a monthly outreach schedule has been established to expand constituent services throughout Fayette, Greene and Washington counties.
“At roughly 650 square miles, the 50th Legislative District can make it challenging to visit one of my three district offices,” Snyder said. “By establishing regular, monthly outreaches, my staff and I can ensure that residents have access to services, assistance and programs provided by state government.”
In Fayette County, Snyder’s staff will be available on the following days and locations: from 2-5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Hiller Volunteer Fire Dept., 937 First St.; and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Masontown Borough Municipal Center, 1 E. Church Ave.
In Washington County, staff will be available on the following days and locations: from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the Fredericktown Area Public Library, 38 Water St.; and from 2-5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Richeyville Volunteer Fire Company, 14 Firehall Road.
Snyder said the monthly outreaches will not affect her regular offices at 104 S. Market St. in Carmichaels, at 33 Market St. in Brownsville and at 93 E. High St. in Waynesburg. Contact information is available through her website, www.pahouse.com/Snyder.
“No appointments are necessary for any of the outreaches or the district offices, although it’s a good idea to call ahead in case some staffers are away at an outreach or on assignment,” Snyder said. “I urge residents to stop by with concerns about any state matter or just to say hello.”
