Wilda R. Triplett Williams
Wilda R. (Triplett) Williams, 83, Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born in Elkins, West Virginia on July 13, 1930 the daughter of Ralph Triplett and Marie (Paugh) Triplett.
She graduated from South Union High School with the class of 1949.
Wilda worked as a Pharmacy Technician for eighteen years for the Uniontown Hospital.
She was a member Christ United Methodist Church since 1946 and a member of the Adrian Bible Class.
Wilda was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Williams; daughter, Beth Williams; granddaughter, Elizabeth Williams; and two sisters Mabel Batty, Irene Cope.
Left to cherish Wilda’s memory are her husband of 63 years, Charles R. Williams; five sons: William Williams and wife Suzanne, Manassas, Virginia, Neal Williams and wife Erin, Wes Williams and wife Sharon, Bruce Williams and fiancee Lisa all of Uniontown, Matthew Williams and wife Susan of Jeannette, Pa.; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where family and friends may call Tuesday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 25, from 10 until 11 a.m. A service celebrating Wilda’s life will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Rev. Timothy Rogers officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery Uniontown, Pa.
