Wanetta M. Duda
Wanetta M. Duda, age 74, of New Salem, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born November 17, 1938 in Deemston, daughter of the late Ernest King and Margaret Warrick King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Bertha Jane Karmish, Andrew Warrick, Bernie Shimp and Betty Hlebik.
Wanetta was a member of Denbo Methodist Church, Fairbank Monday Night Ladies Bowling League, Bentleyville Senior Tuesday and Wednesday Day Bowling League.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Duda Sr.; her children, Peggy Martin and husband, Tim, of Uniontown, Walter ‘Butch’ Duda Jr. and wife, Janice, of Dry Tavern, Tracey Sloboda and husband, Randy, of Hopwood and Mark Anthony Duda and wife, Joanna, of Smock; her grandchildren, Jody, Ashley, Morgan, Creed, Casey, Hunter, Mark II, Daniel, Justin, Tiffany and Eric; her great-granddaughter, Brooke and her brothers and sisters, Elma Bastian and husband, Tom, of Denbo, Harry King of Uniontown, Ernest King of Brownsville, Priscilla Scherba of Brownsville and Robert Revell of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 9 to 11 a.m., the hour of service. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
