Beverly F. Geary Urbach
Beverly F. Geary Urbach, 62 of Little Summit (Dunbar Twp.) passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at her home.
She was born June 12, 1951 in Connellsville, a daughter of Benjamin H. Urbach of Little Summit and the late Katherine P. (Hoch) Urbach.
Beverly was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School with the class of 1969. She also received her degree for a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Uniontown Vocational Technical School. She had been working as a Care Worker for Visiting Angels of Uniontown. She was a member of the Connellsville Church of God on Breakneck Avenue.
Beverly loved to go on long rides in the car on back road and trails. She had a passion for cooking and was known for her ‘Aunt B’s’ pizza by her family and friends.
Most of all, Beverly loved her children and being a grandmother, ‘Nana’ to her wonderful grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by loving family, her children: Ryan C. Geary, Sr. and wife Dana of Uniontown and Chad L. Geary and wife Heidi of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; her grandchildren: Taylor Leigh Geary and Ryan ‘RJ’ Geary Jr., both of Uniontown, Austin L. Geary of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Andrew ‘Drew’ Geary of Uniontown, and Addison L. Geary of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; her brother Kenneth A. Urbach and wife Merna of South Connellsville and her sister Lorrain Kay Gualtieri and husband Mike of Vanderbilt, and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the hour of a Funeral Service in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St. Connellsville (724-628-1430) with Pastor Nelson Confer officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. The family suggests donations be made to the Connellsville Church of God, 126 Breakneck Ave., Connellsville, PA 15425, in memory of Beverly F. Urbach.
