Smock man arrrested on assault charges

Uniontown police arrested a Smock man Wednesday on assault charges after he allegedly kicked and stomped his girlfriend in the face with his steel-toed boots.

According to court documents, Joseph John Pullem III, 33, was charged with simple assault, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment, disorderly conduct/engage in fighting.

Pullem called police to report that he assaulted his girlfriend, Kimberly Lilley, so police were dispatched around 2:21 a.m. Wednesday to 47 E. Kerr St., according to the complaint.
