Merle Yvonne Turney
Merle Yvonne Turney, 77 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 and went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ.
She was born March 30, 1937, in Fredericktown, Pa., the daughter of Alva Carl Wadsworth and Grace Elizabeth Cassidy Wadsworth.
Her parents and brothers, Melvin Eugene Wadsworth, Floyd Wayne Wadsworth and James Donald Wadsworth preceded her in death.
Merle was an active member of Faith Assembly of God Church of Uniontown, Pa.
Surviving are her children: Dennis Raymond Turney, Uniontown, Pa., Debbie Turney, Fairchance, Pa., George William Cassidy Turney and wife, JoAnn, Uniontown, Pa. and Lynndi Gail Turney, Fairchance, Pa.; grandchildren: David Lee Evans and wife, Kayla Hollis, Candy Evans, Angela Palkey, Elizabeth Turney and Alva Turney; great grandchildren: Joey Hice, Jacob Hice, Camden Hice, Addison Ruth Hollis, Trystan Dilon Gazu, Stephanie Watson, Jason William Turney and Jonathan Stephen Turney; sisters: Janet Marie Bess, Alice Grace Harris and husband, Michael, Ruth Oglesvee and Ella Fay Lowe and husband, Richard and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to invite friends and family to attend a Memorial Service for Merle to be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 10 a.m. at FAITH ASSEMBLY OF GOD, 690 Morgantown Road, Uniontown, Pa., 15401 with Pastor Jason Lamer officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, Fairchance, Pa.
