1 min read

Connellsville police said they are looking for someone who stole $435 from the Reddy Sunoco on Thursday.

Police said they responded to the gas station at 225 Memorial Boulevard at 9:40 p.m. for the report of a robbery.

According to police, the clerk reported that a man entered the store and demanded money. The man was about 5’6″ tall and about 120 lbs., and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, police said.

Additionally, police said the man had his hand in his pocked indicating that he had a gun.

The store clerk refused to cooperate with the suspect, and the suspect walked around the register and fought with him, police said.

The clerk was not injured, but the man was able to pry open the cash register and remove $435. He then left the store and fled in what was believed to be a maroon, four-door vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Connellsville police at 724-628-2501 ext. 110.
