State police said three people involved in a crash in Bullskin Township were flown to a Pittsburgh hospital with major injuries early Thursday.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. on Route 982 near Pleasant Valley Country Club, police said, when the driver of the vehicle lost control of his car traveling westbound, and hit a barrier. The three who were injured in the crash were all passengers in the vehicle, and police identified the driver as Evan Yuhouse, 23, of Scottdale, whom they said left the scene before police arrived.
Police are continuing to look for Yuhouse, and Trooper Stefani Plume said that an accident reconstruction team has been to the scene to investigate what occurred.
Police said that two of the three passengers had to be extricated from the vehicle. Police did not identify any of the passengers.
