Thelma B. (Deedrick) Pearson
Thelma B. (Deedrick) Pearson, age 93, of Perryopolis, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was born on September 29, 1920, in Curry Hollow, PA, the daughter of the late Walter W. and Mary E. MacMillan Deedrick.
Thelma worked at Westinghouse for many years. She is a member of the New Life Free Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir. Thelma was a long time member of Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board of Directors. She was a homemaker that was devoted to her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as, her extended family and loving friends.
She is survived by her sons: Thomas Pearson, III and wife, Marcel (McKeever), Timothy Pearson and wife, Nancy (Guglielmi), her YOUNGER SISTER, Ellen Lundberg; grandchildren: Erin D. King and husband, Shaun, Ryan G. Pearson and wife, Tiffany, T. J. Pearson and wife, Stephanie, Anthony D. Pearson and Fiancé, Kayla; great grandchildren: Conner L. King and Gracie A. Pearson and step-great grandson, Willis Stivender.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Thomas Pearson, Jr., a son, Todd R. Pearson, four brothers and one sister.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA, on Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, until 10 a.m., the hour of service. Pastor Ken Walls will be officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.
