Edgar W. Cunningham Jr., age 83, of Fairchance Pa., died Friday, April 11 2014 at Golden Living Center, Uniontown, Pa.

He was born February 19, 1931 in Fairchance, Pa., the son of the late Edgar W. Cunningham, Sr. and Elsie P. Cooley Cunningham.

Edgar was in the Army and served his country during Korean conflict.

He was a Life Member and Past Commander (serving 1979-1980) of Alfred Wilson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7219 in Fairchance, Pa.

Edgar is survived by his children: daughter Paulette Angelo and her husband Bud, and son Edgar A. Cunningham all of Fairchance, Pa.; two sisters: Coral J. Moats of Arizona and Mary Ann Heffren of Twinsburg, Ohio; grandchildren and g r e a t grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Edgar’s family will receive friends today Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2 until 4 p.m., the hour of his Funeral Service with Pastor Mark Lawson officiating in the GOLDSBORO – TOMI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436, John M. Fabry, Supervisor.

Private interment will take place at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
