Irene Frances (Fiorentin) Masi
Irene Frances (Fiorentin) Masi, age 93 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully Easter Sunday morning, April 20, 2014 in her home.
She was born May 1, 1920 in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of the late Jack and Concetta Fiorentin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dominick Masi; as well as her son, Dominick Masi Jr.; a sister, Rose Moody; brothers, Paul Fiorentin and Tony Fiorentin.
She was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.
Irene loved cooking!
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her loving children: Frank V. Masi and wife Velma of Uniontown, Vincent M. Masi and wife Cindy of Uniontown, Anthony C. Masi and wife Linda of Uniontown, and Darlene A. Rebar and husband Frank of Uniontown; several loving grand children, great-grand children, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Lucy Martin of Ohio and Mary Korgosky of Ohio; several loving nieces, nephews, other relatives; many friends.
Friends will be received in KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, April 23, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday until 12 Noon when Parting Prayers will be said.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.
Interment follows in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Parish Wake Service will be held Wednesday at 3:30 pm.
