Cody James Nypaver
Cody James Nypaver, age 22, Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born Tuesday, September 24, 1991 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Myron Nypaver and Lisa Crozier Nypaver.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Nypaver a n d great-grandparents, Charles and Mary Crozier, Agnes Toth and Mary Frazier.
Cody was a member of Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church.
He was a member of the Hopwood Fire Department.
He was proud to be a fireman with his dad and brother, Josh. He loved to go to the Fire Station since he was a young boy with his dad, Myron.
Cody loved the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Pirates.
He truly enjoyed golfing.
He graduated from Uniontown Area High School, Class of 2009 where he was an avid Golfer and so proud that he made it to the WPIALS his senior year.
The true love of his life was his son Riley. He was so proud to be a dad and will live ‘forever’ in Riley’s heart.
In addition to his mom, Lisa, and dad, Myron, he is survived by his fianceé, the love of his life and Riley’s mom, Amy Holloman. Cody affectionately c a l l e d Riley ‘his little mustache man’ and Amy ‘Ma’. He is also survived by his best brother, Airman 1st Class Joshua Nypaver stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota; sister and best friend, Bailee Nypaver; his loving grandparents: Gary and Patricia Crozier, and Caryl Nypaver; aunts and uncles: James and Deb Nypaver, Rene Barkley, Mark and Tina Nypaver, Paul and Lisa (Nypaver) Bankston, Kirk and Donna Nypaver, Maria (Nypaver) Lyons and Darren Frost, Tricia Crozier Piklusky, Patrick ‘P.J.’ and Tiffany Crozier Dunlevy, Charles and Sandra Crozier; cousin and his buddy, Jacob Barkley; other cousins: Kirk and Cole Nypaver, Justin Lyons, Jenna Nypaver, Carly Nypaver, Caleigh Dunlevy, Scarlett Zehala, Maxx Thomas and Morgan.
Cody was a special great-nephew to: Karen Crozier, Dr. Stephen and Sheree Toth and children, Larry a n d Stephanie Pettit and children, Ray Cheripko and his daughter Kelly. He is also survived by Amy’s parents, Ronald and Deborah Holloman; and lifelong friends: Evan Stuhar, Shaeleigh DeBerry, Mike Kelley, Brian Guthrie, James Parker, Shawn Hodgetts and Johnny Hodgetts; and many, many more friends.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today, April 23, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday morning until 9:15 a.m. when Parting Prayers will be said.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in the Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak, V.F., Pastor, as Celebrant.
Interment follows in M o u n t M a c r i n a Cemetery, Uniontown.
Parish Wake Service will be held in Funeral Home today at 3 p.m.
Hopwood Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a Ritual in the Funeral Home today at 7.
U n i o n t o w n F i r e Department will conduct a ritual in the Funeral Home today at 7:30 p.m.
