Caroline M. (Zetti) Radachy, 87, formerly of Fredericktown, Pa., died Friday, April 25, 2014 in the Evergreen Assisted Living, Waynesburg, Pa.

She was born Monday, April 25, 1927 in Allison, Pa., the daughter of Fred Zetti and Anna Marie (Capozzoli) Zetti.

Caroline was a 1945 graduate of Jefferson High School.

For several years she was employed by the Clarksville Company Store.

She was a lifetime member of the Saint Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, and was an active member of The Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild of the church.

Mrs. Radachy was an avid bowler and was a member of Tan-O-Bell Lanes Bowling League.

Caroline enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was always referred to as a “most gracious and kind person” by all who knew her.

On June 14, 1952 she married William Frank Radachy. He died April 24, 1995. They celebrated 42 years of marriage.

Also deceased are: son William “Jake” Radachy who died May 9, 2012: her parents; son-in-law, Jacob Colborn; cousin, James LaCaffini; brother-in-law, Robert Radachy; and one child who died in infancy.

Surviving are three daughters: Cindy Kime (John) of Clarksville, Pa., Marian Hare (Troy) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Christine Tucker (Rex) of Calabash, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Michele Radachy of Washington, Pa.; seven grandchildren: J.B. Kime (Lynn), Lauren Kime, Kenna Radachy, Shannon Zahara, Judy Colborn Bartlett (Scott), Jacob Colborn (Jackie) and Joey Colborn; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Josephine Turina (Frank) of Beaver, Pa.; one brother, Fred Zette of Fredericktown, Pa.; sister-in-law, Mildred Radachy of Arizona; brother and sister-in-law, Betty and Donald Moore of Ohio; the Regets family; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, Pa., where a Prayer Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the Saint Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, with the Reverend Father Paul W. Grunebach as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa.

Parish Vigil will be held in Funeral Home on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

The family requests memorial contribution be made to a charity of one’s choice or to the Saint Oliver Plunkett Parish, Post Office Box 638 Fredericktown, PA 15333 or the Fredericktown Area Public Library, Post Office Box 62, Fredericktown, PA 15333 or the Beth-Center Senior Citizens Center, Vestaburg, PA 15357.
