Dorothy Sue (Bowers) Snyder, age 71, of Normalville, Pa., passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at Eicher’s Family Home, Normalville.
She was born Monday, June 22, 1942 in Mill Run, Pa., the daughter of Casey and Elizabeth (Shroyer) Bowers.
Dorothy was Protestant by faith.
She was a loving home maker, and enjoyed dancing, collecting, spending time outdoors, and quality time with her beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Snyder; daughter, Connie Snyder; son Larry Snyder; sisters Betty Bowers, Barb Bowers, Roxanne Bowers brother, George Bowers; grandson, Randy Shroyer
She is survived by her children: Rick Snyder and his wife Kate of Normalville, Pa., Judy Willard of Connellsville, Pa., Geraldine Shroyer and her husband Allen of Mill Run, Pa., Albert Snyder and wife Jenny of Normalville, Pa., Connie Dillinger and husband Loye of Connellsville, Pa. Dave Snyder and his wife Sherrie, Mount Pleasant, Pa.; her grandchildren: Samantha, Danielle, Kaylee, Steven, Karen, Waylon, Brandon, Alvin, Celina, Brittany, Ashley and husband Ron, Nicki, Megan, ClaudiaJoy, Shannon, Shyann, David, Sonya and husband Eric Weaver, Richard Willard and wife Sue, Denise with Mike Bates, Jessica Frye and husband Scott, and Jessica Soares with Brandon Widner; great grandchildren: Dylan, Mckayla, Kayla and Rickie Willard, Jackie, Woodrow, Elisha and Olivia Worley, Layla Weaver, Brice Platt, Brianna Bates, Kelsey Prinkey, Brian Mitchell, Abby and Christopher Frye, Ryalyn Rimel, Gracie Widner, Emily, Kylie and Emmette Semarge, Sahari Willard
Family and Friends will be received in PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., Dennis N. Heath Jr., Supervisor, 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Interment will follow in Mill Run Cemetery.
