Bridget C. (Grasso) Williams
Bridget C. (Grasso) Williams, age 79, Lemont Furnace, Pa., passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Monday, September 24, 1934 in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of Michael Grasso and Carmella (Maselli) Grasso.
Bridget graduated from Connellsville High School, Class of 1952.
She had been a resident of Lemont Furnace since 1962.
She attended Saint Rita Roman Church Church in Connellsville, Pa.
Bridget was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward F. Williams; her parents; her brothers, Anthony Cirilli, Albert Cirilli, and John Cirilli; her sisters, Rose Tavenner and Sylvia ‘Sophie’ Jordan.
Bridget will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving children: Karen L. Sanzone and Anthony of Connellsville, Pa., Lloyd E. ‘Buddy’ Williams and Pam Whalen of Georgetown, South Carolina, Randy M. Williams and Dave Mansberry of Uniontown, Pa., Brian R. Williams and Lori of Connellsville, Pamela S. Williams of Connellsville, and Mark A. Williams and Beth Porterfield of Connellsville, Pa.; her beloved grandchildren: Amity M. Williams and Troy of Dawson, Pa., Nicholas E. Sanzone and Natalie, Pittsburgh, Pa., Rachel L. Sanzone of Pittsburgh, Pa., Brittany Sepkovic of Connellsville Pa., Leah M. Williams of Pittsburgh, Pa., Matthew R. Williams of Connellsville, Seth Williams of Connellsville, and Miranda Murphy of Connellsville; her great grandchildren: Cooper and Amelia Sepkovic and Cameron and Grace Williams; her brother, Michael Grasso of New Mexico; and a special niece, Carol Joyce Hyatt.
Family and Friends will be received today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green St., Connellsville, PA 15425 (724.628.1430) where a Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Father Gerry Juarez officiating.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
Visitation was also held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family suggests donations be made to the Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Boulevard, Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 in memory of Bridget Grasso Williams
