David L. Hanan, age 60, of Dilliner, Pa., died Monday, July 21, 2014 at home.

He was born Monday, November 16, 1953 in Connellsville, Pa., son of Woodrow C. Hanan and Doris (McGregor) Hanan

He served with the United States Navy in Vietnam.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Hanan; and a nephew, Robert Joseph Cooke.

Surviving are his wife, Judith (McCarty) Hanan; a son, David L. Hanan Jr. and his wife Danielle of Uniontown, Pa.; niece, Jamie Rice, whom he considered a daughter, of Uniontown, Pa.; nine grandchildren; brother, Delbert Hanan and his wife Cindy of Uniontown, Pa.; sisters: Doreen Cooke and her husband Emmet ‘Boone’ of Dunbar, Pa., Diane Hall and Darlene Hanan both of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; sister-in-law, Carol Hanan, Uniontown, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

Friends were received on Thursday, July 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa.

Services were held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.

Interment followed in Cove Run Cemetery, Lemont Furnace, Pa.
