Curt Rohlf
Curt Rohlf, age 85, Farmington, Pa., passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born Saturday, August 10, 1929 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Robert Rohlf and Emma (Shaffer) Rohlf.
Curt attended Cherry Tree Alliance Church in Uniontown and Calvary Baptist Church on Five Forks Road, Farmington.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was the recipient of The Purple Heart.
He had been a member of the Fort Necessity Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 265, Ohiopyle.
Curt was predeceased by his parents; several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Grace (Gleason) Rohlf; four children: Jeff Rohlf and his wife Jane of Farmington, Pa., Jill Rohlf-Rush of Dover, Delaware, Jay Rohlf of Brooklyn, New York, John Rohlf and his wife Marylou of Farmington, Pa.; five grandchildren: Jodie Bolewitz and her husband Mike, Charlotte, North Carolina, Jetta Sargent and her husband Al of Dover, Delaware, Jadyn Rush of Dover, Delaware, Justin Rohlf and fiancee Paige Glover of Lewisburg, West Virginia, Joshua Rohlf of Farmington, Pa.; three great grandchildren: Holden Bolewitz, Noah Bolewitz, Blake Bolewitz; sister-in-law, Betty Rohlf of Uniontown, Pa.; two brothers-in-law: Charles Gleason and his wife Eleanor, Duane Gleason and his wife Ruth; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Terry Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Chalk Hill, Pa.
