Sarah Mae (Cox) ‘Nanny’ Donaldson, age 82, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, Pa., with her loving family by her side.

Sarah Mae was born on Saturday, December 19, 1931 in Nemours, West Virginia the only child of Ray S. Cox and Helen (Hale) Cox, later moving to Pennsylvania.

Sarah was a member of the Brownfield United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, helped in the Vacation Bible School, previous President of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class, President of United Methodist Women, and held other official offices in the church.

Sarah was a former Girl Scout leader and also on Committee of the Boy Scouts.

She was a member of the Albert Gallatin Boosters for both football and wrestling.

Her hobbies were cooking, baking, sewing, quilting, camping, gardening, vacationing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, John ‘Jack’ Donaldson; and only daughter, Linda Jill Yokobosky.

Surviving are her son, Jackie R. Donaldson and his wife Norma of Fairchance, Pa.; son-in-law, John Yokobosky and friend Colleen of Uniontown, Pa.; grand children: Tina Bittinger and husband Greg of Smithfield, Pa., Jillynda Kozak and husband Mike of Uniontown, Pa., Jason Donaldson and wife Emily of Uniontown, Pa., Matthew Donaldson of Fairchance, Pa., Michael Donaldson and fiancée Ashleigh of Fairchance, Pa., David Barnhart and his wife Crystal of Fairchance, Pa.; other step grandchildren: Lisa Murray and husband Jack of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Nathan Jun Yokobosky and his wife Brittany of Montgomery, Alabama; great grand children: Melissa and husband Dan, Megan, Gregory, Wyatt, Kelsie, Amelia, Hailey, Kylee, April and husband Nick, Jack and fiancée Ashley, Tyler, Annalynn, Emmaleigh, Alyvia, Johnathan, and Luke; and many great great grandchildren whom all she cherished.

Sarah’s family will receive friends today, Friday, August 15, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the GOLDSBORO-FABRY FUNERAL HOME INC., 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., John M. Fabry, Supervisor.

Additional visitation will take place at the BROWNFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1429 Brownfield Road, Brownfield, PA 15416 on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of the Funeral Service. Pastor Diane Olson will officiate

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
