Larry Joseph ‘Joe’ Joseph Winder, age 61, Perryopolis, Pa., passed away suddenly Sunday, December 14, 2014.

He was born on Wednesday, April 1, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa., the beloved son of LaVerne Besseck.

He was a very skilled Carpenter who was self-employed and had many clients.

He was a golfer.

He was a ‘Pit Dad’ with his son’s ATV racing

‘Joe’ loved to cook with Potato Soup as his specialty.He would make the soup and take it to people that requested it.

He loved Mancini’s Bread, and when he brought it, he purchased many loaves.

He loved to agitate — it was one of the things that he liked to do best.

He loved his whole family with all his heart and his best friend is his son, Joel.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ruth Ann (Allen) Winder; a son, Joseph ‘Joel’ Winder and his companion Marissa Molnar; a daughter, Kelly Victor and her companion Ryan Beck; a granddaughter Blake Victor; brothers: Robert James Winder and wife Kathy, Harry Lee Winder and wife Dee, and Raymond John Winder and wife Jackie; a sister, Mary Lou Cupp and husband Denny; and a huge extended family; and his grand dogs.

He was preceded in death by his mother; mother-in-law, Virginia Allen and Bobbie Besseck.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473 on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, December 18, 2014 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of Service. Pastor Ken Walls will officiate.

Interment will be in the Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt, Pa
