Rose M. (Martino) Schimonsky

Rose M. (Martino) Schimonsky, age 88, of Brownsville, Pa., died on Monday, December 15, 2014 in the comfort of her home.
She was born on Tuesday, March 30, 1926 the beloved daughter of James Martino and Mary (Tambourini) Martino.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Brownsville, Pa.
Rose had worked as a Bookkeeper for Frank’s Auto Supply.
She loved to bake, cook, and sew, but her greatest joy was caring for her daughters and grandchildren.
Rose was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Roy H. Schimonsky; two sisters, Mamie Pappas and Lena Carr; brother, Patsy Martin; two sons-in-law, Bill Crabb and Andy Pugliesi; and one great-grandson, Zachary Ronald Johnson.
She is survived by six daughters: Sandy Pugliesi of Webster, Pa., Rose (Mark) Rambo of Uniontown, Pa., Patty (Henry) Bittner of Uniontown, Pa., Roileen Schimmel of New Salem, Pa., Lorilyn Crabb of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Loralei (John) Perozich of Pittsburgh, Pa.; grand children: Angie Walters, Andy Pugliesi Jr. and Danielle Pugliesi, Mark Rambo Jr., Melissa McKnight, Beth Redding, Michael Bittner, Brett Schimmel,Rachael Crabb and Caleigh, Aidan and Anthony Perozich; 11 great-grandchildren; sev-eral nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 8 p.m. in NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa. Funeral Services will be in the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 conducted by Pastor Jay Polowsky.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
