William F. Cleaver Jr.

Mr. William F. Cleaver Jr., age 70, passed away at 11:52 a.m. Saturday, December 20th, 2014 while in the company of family members at his residence, Eight River Avenue, Masontown, Pa.
He was born in Point Marion, Pennsylvania on Friday, January 7, 1944 the son of William and Audrey Cleaver.
He was a member of the Masontown Mennonite Church.
Before retiring, he was employed as a Mailman for the United States Postal Service.
Mr. Cleaver served honorably in United States Army.
He graduated from Albert Gallatin High School, Class of 1962.
William was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and five sisters, Jack, Margaret, Betty Smith, Mary Johnson, Wilma Friend, Eleanor Cleaver and James Cleaver.
He was the husband for 27 years of Barbara (Farrier) Cleaver. They were married on Saturday, April 18, 1987.
Also survived by two daughters: Christina Cobb of Darlington, Pa., and Tracy Weber of Evans City, Pa.; two sons: William Cleaver III of Beaver Falls, Pa., and William Farrier of Point Marion, Pa.; eight grand children and four great grandchildren; and one sister, Rebecca Smith of Lake Lynn, Pa.
Family will receive Friends at the MASONTOWN MENNONITE CHURCH, Masontown-Smithfield Road, Masontown, PA 15461 on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Ronald Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, New Geneva, Pa., where Military Honors and Rites will be accorded by the Masontown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4584 and the American Legion Post 423.
