Council to take action concerning police officer
Connellsville City Council on Monday plans to take action concerning a police officer who was recently placed on administrative leave.
Connellsville Mayor Greg Lincoln said council will vote on a resolution to accept Sgt. Ryan Reese’s resignation from the Connellsville Police Department at the special council meeting, which will take place at 5 p.m. on Monday at City Hall.
Reese, who has been with the police force for a little more than 14 years, was placed on administrative leave Dec. 18.
Lincoln said the city’s solicitor and Reese’s attorney are working on the resolution which will be placed on the agenda for the Monday night meeting.
