Gerald Anthony “Jerry” “Lump” Lombardo

Gerald Anthony Lombardo, ‘Lump’, age 68, of Uniontown, Pa., died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at home.
He was born Monday, February 25, 1946 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania son of Charles Michael ‘Eli’ Lombardo and Anna (Zele) Lombardo, both now deceased.
Gerald was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., and the American Legion Post 0945.
He was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.
‘Jerry’ was an avid fisherman, Pittsburgh Steelers fan and Pittsburgh Penguins fan.
He was a very loving husband, father, grand father and brother and will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Ellen (Marano) Lombardo; daughters: Kristie Holyfield and Harry and Aimee Lewis and husband Cecil; granddaughters: Madison Holyfield, McKenna Holyfield, Kinley Lewis; two brothers: Robert Lombardo and his wife Darlene and Charles Lombardo and his wife Diane; nieces, nephews, close family members and numerous friends.
The family will greet friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance Pennsylvania today from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 until 9:15 a.m. when the Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in the Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill Street, with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak, V.F., Pastor, as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery where Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103.
Parish Wake Service will be held in funeral home today at 3:00 p.m.
